Chargebacks Use Cases


The Chargeback Report provides an overview of the chargeback spendings of a customer.

Information you can get from this report:

  • How many chargebacks did the customer have

The following use cases are examples to make them more “plastic”.


UC-01: Analysis of reliability and creditworthiness before applying for credit.


  • Bank

  • User


  • Bank’s loan application

  • finAPI Data Intelligence

  • finAPI Process Controller

  • finAPI WebForm


  • Analysis of the customer's liability on debit notes

  • From this the following conclusions about its reliability and creditworthiness


  • User has opened the Bank's online loan application


  • Bank’s loan application asks customer to import all accounts

    • Open finAPI Process Controller and get process token and user

    • Call finAPI WebForm v2 to let the user import the accounts

      • wait until the user has finished

    • Call finAPI Data Intelligence Synchronize accounts endpoint and wait for callback

      • Callback should create a Chargeback Report with the given Data Sources

    • Get the result of the Chargeback Report

      • Look at the result to find out what the client's behaviour on debt notes is.
